Umbrella Dementia Cafés fosters connection, support, and better quality of life through informal community cafés. With five cafés in Victoria, and more emerging ,we empower people with dementia to regain autonomy, boost self-esteem, and support family carers.

Our Umbrella Cafes

Umbrella Dementia Cafés operates five volunteer-supported social groups across Victoria, providing supportive environments for individuals with dementia and their carers. Our cafés are located in two local community houses, a churches, a shopping centre and a social club, offering activities that promote autonomy, connection, awareness and inclusivity.

We’ve done the research so you don’t have to.
