Along with his wife Marlaine, he is a founding volunteer and a truly valued member of our ‘Connections’ community, has welcomed over 150 couples! So, for Bob’s 80th, he asked his friends and family to donate to Umbrella Dementia Cafes instead of gifts. So far, they have donated a whopping $1,747, which will directly benefit the Café of Connections dementia cafe.
Bob’s family and friends’ generosity enormously benefit all members who attend his café.
Umbrella Dementia Cafés is an independent charity dedicated to providing vital dementia-inclusive social supports to Australians since 2016.
