When I turned 60, I decided I needed a hobby. I considered lawn bowls, bingo or hot rods? \u2018Hot rods\u2019 it is, and the rest is history. I bought a body and chassis which was hanging in a shed in Lindorf South, Australia. Most of the parts were then sourced from the USA and the project was completed at a friend\u2019s Rod Shop In Melbourne in about 6 years. I entered it into the 2017 Victorian hot rod show and it won Third Prize.
