It&#8217;s also the home of our longest serving volunteer team, including volunteers who initially attended the caf\u00e9 as carers themselves. That mean a majority of this 10 strong volunteer team have lived experiences and are extraordinarily important for people who want advice on how to navigate the home or aged care system.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This group has a maximum of 10 couples. Every caf\u00e9 they enjoy social activities, play nostalgic games and LOVE to sing! They are often welcomed to the caf\u00e9 by Graham\u2019s piano playing.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This caf\u00e9 is perfect for people<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who have been recently diagnosed<\/li>\n<li>Who love to play games and enjoy singing<\/li>\n<li>Of all ages and dementia types, particularly people with unusual symptoms.<\/li>\n<li>Who\u2019s family care-partner is interested in joining the Carers Support Meeting<\/li>\n<li>Who live within 10kms of the Blackburn community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Our members request that health care professionals attend by invitation only please.
